Hi, my name is Clara Hand and I am based in the picturesque village of Marshfield, within easy reach of Bath, Bristol and Chippenham.  I am a self-taught cook and cater for friends, family, neighbours and those who are 'too busy to cook' or fancy a break from the kitchen. 

 

I have provided Marshfield and the surrounding area with a regular takeaway service, cooking all sorts of dishes from chilli to Thai style curry,  barbeque chicken to Moroccan lamb.   I cook for dinner parties, lunches, canape parties, brunches, afternoon teas and also bake the occasional celebration cake.  

 

I am chef for a large local party venue/country house, The House in The Shoe, where I regularly cook for dinner parties, hen and stag dos, birthday celebrations and family occasions. 

 

​I have catered for numbers from one person up to parties of thirty as well as takeaway nights and a wedding buffet for eighty to one hundred people.

My regular cooking project is a weekly meal plan, providing customers with home cooked meals.

​

I am 'Food safety and hygiene for catering' accredited including a food hygiene rating of 5 after an inspection of premises by South Gloucestershire Council. (27.10.21)
